Tri Glide® Ultra
The Tri Glide® Ultra is the premium trike in the Harley-Davidson® lineup. Whereas the Freewheeler is stripped down, the Tri Glide® Ultra is loaded with conveniences and advanced technologies. This three-wheeled motorcycle ships from the factory with everything you need to ride it for long periods and long distances. It is built on the touring chassis used throughout the Grand American Touring family but does boast a suspension that has been specifically tuned for a trike. The ride comfort is unparalleled among three-wheeled motorcycles, and the chrome aesthetic pops with all of the available color options.
Enthusiast Collection
The Enthusiast Collection is a special collection that Harley-Davidson® puts out each year. The theme and the models featured change on a year-to-year basis. For 2022, we get the G.I. theme, which celebrates veterans and the people who serve in the military now. The 2022 Harley-Davidson® Tri Glide® Ultra G.I. Enthusiast Collection edition is the same as the standard Tri Glide® Ultra with the exception of its exclusive paint scheme, which features the Mineral Green Denim Deluxe color and unique graphics.
Ride Characteristics
Harley-Davidson® designs its three-wheeled motorcycles to provide riders and their passengers a more comfortable and convenient ride than you can get with a traditional two-wheeled motorcycle. The Tri Glide® Ultra has a fork-mounted fairing. It puts the rider in an upright position. There is a passenger seat with a backrest and floorboards for both the rider and passenger. The integrated trunk provides more than 4 cubic feet of storage space and the Tour-Pak more than 2 cubic feet. It also features a state-of-the-art infotainment system, and rider safety enhancements are available as a factory option.
Performance
As with the standard 2022 Harley-Davidson® Tri Glide® Ultra, the G.I. Enthusiast Collection has the Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine. The 114 in the name refers to the 114 cubic inch displacement. It boasts an ESPFI fuel system and a 2-1-2 dual exhaust with tapered mufflers. Other notable performance characteristics include a 49-millimeter dual bending valve front fork, a hand-adjustable emulsion rear suspension and seven-spoke cast aluminum front and rear wheels.
